01 / WHO WE ARE

A small studio.
A personal commitment.

Rooted in Türkiye.
Made for players everywhere.

Sahil Games is an independent studio founded by Doğukan Sahil. We create games around expressive systems, distinctive worlds, and the satisfaction of discovering something for yourself.

Our work begins with a simple question: does this make the experience better for the person playing? That question shapes our mechanics, our interfaces, and the choices we make about who can take part.

Golf-Like is where these ideas come together: a focused concept with room for experimentation, surprise, and a style of play that becomes your own.

02 / WHAT WE STAND FOR

Five arms.
One philosophy.

Like the five arms of our starfish, these principles belong together. They guide how we build, how we make decisions, and how we care for the player experience.

01

Rich worlds

A world should have something to say.

We value a clear artistic identity: places with atmosphere, visual character, and details that make you curious about what lies ahead. Scale alone does not make a world memorable. A change in light, a carefully chosen sound, or an unexpected interaction can give a small space a lasting presence.

Art and sound should also help you understand the game. We aim to make important objects, hazards, and routes readable, so the world invites exploration while supporting the decisions you make.

Character in the world. Clarity in the experience.
02

Great gameplay

The feel of play comes first.

Responsive controls, understandable rules, and useful feedback are the foundation of our work. We want players to understand what happened, learn from it, and see a reason to try something different. Challenge feels rewarding when the game gives you the information and control to meet it.

We look for depth in the interaction between simple systems. Every mechanic should earn its place, whether it creates a meaningful choice, opens a new approach, or makes a familiar action more satisfying.

Easy to begin. Room to discover your own mastery.
03

Broad compatibility

Good play should travel beyond one setup.

Players use different computers, operating systems, screens, and input devices. We treat those differences as part of design, with attention to scalable graphics, practical system requirements, readable interfaces, and dependable performance.

Our aim is to preserve the character and feel of a game across the hardware we support. We want players to be able to make informed choices through clear requirements and accurate platform information on each game’s store page.

Consider the everyday machine, as well as the powerful one.
04

Accessibility

More people deserve a good way in.

Access is shaped by budget, disability, individual preferences, and the circumstances in which someone plays. We want to reduce unnecessary barriers while keeping the experience engaging and satisfying. Accessibility belongs in our design decisions from the beginning.

PRICE & VALUE

A fair way in.

We aim for fair pricing that considers the value of the experience and differences in purchasing power across regions. Clear information and opportunities to try a game help players decide whether it deserves their time and budget.

VISION & COLOUR

Meaning beyond colour.

We care about colour blindness, legibility, and contrast. Our approach is to support colour adjustments where appropriate and use shapes, symbols, or text alongside colour, so important information has more than one way to reach the player.

HEARING & AUDIO

Keep the meaning visible.

When speech or sound carries meaning, our design goal is readable subtitles, captions for important sounds, and visual alternatives for essential audio cues. Players should be able to follow the experience when they cannot hear it clearly or choose to play quietly.

MOVEMENT & INPUT

Make room for different hands.

We consider remappable controls, alternative input methods, and the effort required by repeated or sustained actions. The aim is to give players more control over how they interact, without unnecessary physical demands getting in the way.

COMFORT & UNDERSTANDING

Clarity is part of care.

Readable text, understandable menus, helpful explanations, and options for intense visual effects can make play more comfortable. We want players to spend their attention on the game, with enough information and flexibility to find their footing.

PLAYER FEEDBACK

Keep listening.

People experience the same game in different ways. We welcome reports of barriers and suggestions from players, including people with disabilities. That feedback helps us understand what needs attention and where our work can improve.

These are the priorities that guide our development. Available features differ by title; each game’s store page and settings describe its supported options.

05

Inclusive design

No single idea of a “typical player.”

Players arrive with different languages, backgrounds, levels of experience, and reasons to play. We aim to make our games understandable without assuming that everyone knows the conventions. Clear onboarding and thoughtful language support can turn uncertainty into confidence.

We want our communication to be respectful and our design to leave room for different approaches. Inclusion means considering who might be left out, listening without dismissing their experience, and making better decisions with that understanding.

We approach conflict with restraint, aiming to keep violence minimal, stylised, and within the realm of fantasy. Our goal is to welcome a broad audience and create engaging challenges without glorifying violence or cruelty. We want our games to offer an imaginative space that does not celebrate or normalise real-world harm.

Welcome curiosity, wherever it comes from.

Made with intention.

Doğukan Sahil · Founder, Engineer & Designer

For our founder, making games is a personal craft with a human purpose. That perspective sits behind both the experiences we create and the care we want to bring to the people playing them.
